The lecture was addressed to those who study Sociology - according to Dr. Tasdelen, it is one of the most demanded specialties in Turkey. The lecture concerned analyzing urbanization processes, with such megalopolises as London, Moscow, and Istanbul taken as an example. The main attention was paid to processes of the middle class migration within districts located between the city center and historic outskirts.
After the lecture, the Turkish guest met his Russian colleagues. It was decided to launch joint researches in Sociology, to organize professors’ and students’ exchanges, and to hold joint conferences.
