Graduates of Joint Master’s Programs to Finish Their Studies in USA

2010-07-02 |
Students of Master’s courses at the Astrakhan Branch of Clark University (USA, Massachusetts) at Astrakhan State University have held an organizational meeting before their going to the United States
Eight graduates of the joint programs are to study in America (Worcester, Massachusetts) from July 05 to August 15; they are to cover two disciplines at their choice. If they wish, they can also gain experience of practical work at Massachusetts’s enterprises. Mr. Royce Anderson, Executive Director of the International Center of Worcester, is to manage their accommodation and cultural program.

Before their leaving for the USA, the students have been told about accommodation conditions and leisure activities at the campus of Clark University; they were also given some valuable advice on their traveling. They have told much about their impressions of studying at an American university. They have highly appreciated the US educational system. “We got really precious knowledge that we’ll certainly need in our future work”, they said, “We projected all the theoretical materials we were given onto our main professional activities. And after all, Personality Psychology played a considerable role in our program. We’re sure it will help us understand people of different professions and of different cultures better”.

Some of the students have never been abroad, so this trip is a good opportunity for them to travel, to improve their English, and to enhance their professional skills.
