Our Laboratory operates under joint direction of the Astrakhan State University and of the Institution of Physical, Chemical, and Biological Problems of Soil Science (affiliate of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the town of Pushchino, Moscow region).

 

 Principal directions in our activities:

– Research of the biological circulation of chemical elements and of the productivity of soils and plants in natural and cultivated phytocenoses located in the delta of the Volga;

– Creation of mathematical models to optimize water-salt regime in cultivating agricultural crops.
